FM, Procurement & Operational Support for Healthcare, Alms Houses, Education and Not-for-Profits

About us
We are a team who can set up, monitor or even manage your hard & soft FM services, who can run compliance audits, who can refine and audit your procurement processes to ensure best value, and who can even undertake and support on staffing structure reviews and enhancements.
We do not support with direct care or clinical services, although we do work closely with them to ensure compliance with CQC, H&S and other regulations.
Why us?
Because we get results! Enhanced ratings, reduced costs, improved productivity and streamlined processes.
We are one of the few organisations in the sector that focuses on support services rather than direct care and we know what CQQ, local authorities, the fire brigade, HSE and the other regulators expect from you.
With a vast amount of experience we have successfully undertaken projects for national care-providers, for large charities and for small Alms Houses as well as for schools, for LD centres, for integrated care centres, for community hospitals and for GP practices
Our team brings almost 100 years of combined experience between us, and we have access to services such as surveyors, architects and contractors who really understand our sector.
Strategy
Do you have a clear FM strategy that everyone understands?
How well is it working?
In today's business landscape as much as 70% of operating costs can be tied up in FM, so it is essential to have a strategy that outlines how assets, environments and services will be managed and maintained to support the core business.
Working with you to gain an understanding of your organisation and its aims and aspirations, we can support you to develop and review your own strategy so that you have the best chance of success.
Hard & Soft FM
So, the strategy is in place, but what comes next?
Self-deliver or outsource?
Local contractor or national supplier?
How will you manage the day-to-day?
What are the transfer risks?
DSCG have extensive experience in supporting both in-house and outsourced arrangements and have mobilised a number of contracts. The team are able to work with you to decide which approach is best, to help you mobilise, and to support you through the lifespan by ensuring compliance.
Policy Development
Experience has shown us that one of the largest issues faced by our clients is that they do not have current and effective policies and procedures in place, and without a policy there is no clear guidance.
Every time we have encountered this it was simply down to lack of resource - nobody had the time to develop the policy because everyone was too busy with the 'day-job'.
Procurement? Driving for work? Cash handling? H&S? GDPR? We can work with you to develop and publish the policies that are the framework for your success.
Procurement
Proper Procurement is integral to your success and we hope that you have a clear policy in place and that you are getting the very best value-for-money.
In many cases however we have found that where the client was focused solely on the invoice price they were missing out.
We can run a full evaluation for you, develop your policies, negotiate contracts on your behalf, and even support you in meetings with suppliers.
Audits
The service is up and running, but is it meeting the standard?
No matter who supplies the service, it is you that the regulator will hold to account for shortfalls.
Food safety? Fire safety? H&S Regs? Quality? Contract compliance?
DSGC are available to create audit programmes set against your own or regulatory standards and to undertake announced or unannounced audits, and to produce detailed reports.
Retained Services
Most of our clients simply don't need a full-time resource, but do need regular support and guidance, often at relatively short notice.
We have limited availability for a retained service which, for a monthly fee, not only means that they receive priority, but that they benefit from 2 days consultancy each month.
